Frequently Asked Questions

All flights take off and land at Bunbury Airport, Western Australia - just two hours south of Perth.

Yes! Our Stearman has a front bench seat that can fit two passengers side by side under one seatbelt. It’s 70cm wide, so it’s a snug fit — perfect for couples, close friends, or a parent and child. The pilot always sits in the rear cockpit. To book a second passenger, simply add the 👉“Plus One” option to your package (availability is space-dependent).

Yes, there are passenger weight and size limits for safety. We’ll provide detailed measurements when booking opens to ensure comfort and safety.

We’ll provide you with a jacket, helmet, and goggles for your flight. Because the Stearman is an open-cockpit aircraft, you’ll be out in the elements, so we recommend wearing something warm underneath.

It’s best to wear pants - not just for warmth, but also because climbing into the front cockpit is a bit of a mission (it’s not quite as glamorous as it looks!).

All passengers must wear closed-toe shoes, and they need to be securely tied on so they don’t come loose during the flight.

Phones and cameras can’t be taken into the cockpit for safety reasons. But don’t worry - we offer video and photo packages with footage captured from the wing looking back at the plane and passengers.

Yes - children aged 8 and above can fly with us, provided they meet our safety requirements.

They must pass the five-step seatbelt safety test, and our pilot must be satisfied with their height and build. A legal guardian is also required to sign a consent form before any child is allowed to fly alone.

Yes. As with all aviation, flights are subject to weather and operational safety checks. If we need to reschedule, we’ll contact you and find another suitable time.
