Our First Airshow – Beverley Airshow 2026

Attending our very first airshow with our own aircraft is something we’ll never forget.

The Beverley Airshow was an incredible day, with over 8,000 people in attendance. From the high-energy displays by Paul Bennet Airshows to appearances from the RAF and so many others, the atmosphere was everything you’d expect... and more.

We had Winnie on static display, and even sitting still, she was an absolute hit.

But for us, this weekend started well before the gates opened.

There was a lot happening behind the scenes in the lead up - artwork, flyers, tents, flags, A-frames, merchandise… all the pieces that come together to create something bigger. Alongside that, Johan was planning Winnie’s journey - organising the route, fuel, and everything needed to get her safely to Beverley for their very first cross country flight together.

When the day finally arrived, it all came together.

We set up our space and spent the day chatting to people, sharing our story, and introducing so many of you to our joy flights in Bunbury. Hayley was completely in her element - talking to everyone, selling hats, t-shirts, and goodies… and somehow, we sold out of all the hats.
(We’re pretty sure a few people forgot theirs - but what better replacement than one with a Boeing Stearman on the front and our iconic star roundel on the back.)

Johan was by Winnie’s side most of the day - answering questions, talking all things aviation, being interviewed, and most importantly, keeping her safe.

The response honestly blew us away.

So many people stopped by, asked questions, shared their own aviation stories, and told us this was something on their bucket list or the perfect gift for someone special. To see that level of excitement and interest in what we’re building… it meant everything.

And of course, it wouldn’t be an airshow without the classic conditions - hot, dusty, and full of energy. The aerial displays were incredible, and while we didn’t get to watch as much as we would have liked, just being there and being part of it all was enough.

Looking back, it’s hard to put into words what this weekend really meant.

It wasn’t just an event. It felt like a milestone - a moment where everything we’ve been working towards started to feel real.

A special thank you to the Beverley Soaring Society and all the friends there who really showed up and supported Johan.

And a big thank you to Fully Promoted Moonee Valley for helping us bring our merchandise to life.

We’re so proud of what we’ve created... and even more excited for what’s ahead.
