Why We Love Operating from the Bunbury Aero Club

The truth is, the experience starts the moment you arrive at the Bunbury Aero Club.

Since launching our operations, the Bunbury Aero Club has been incredibly welcoming and supportive. They have made us feel at home from day one, and we are grateful to be operating alongside such a passionate aviation community.

One of the things we love most about the Aero Club is the fantastic viewing deck overlooking the runway. It gives family and friends a front-row seat to all the action. Whether you're watching a loved one climb aboard Winnie, seeing the aircraft taxi out, or waiting for their return, the deck provides an incredible vantage point.

We always encourage passengers to bring their family and friends along. Flying is an experience worth sharing, and it's wonderful to have people there to wave you off and hear all about your adventure when you land.

The Bunbury Aero Club also offers plenty of parking, making it easy for visitors to spend time at the airport without any hassle.

While you're there, you can enjoy drinks available for purchase, complimentary tea and coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer.

For families, the Aero Club is a hidden gem. There is a great grassed area where kids can run around, enjoy a picnic, and watch aircraft come and go. For many young visitors, it's their first close-up look at aviation, and you never know when it might spark a future pilot, engineer, or aviation enthusiast.

Another fantastic community event hosted by the Aero Club is their monthly breakfast, held on the first Sunday of every month. For just $15, everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy a delicious breakfast, meet local aviators, and spend time watching the aircraft activity around the airport.
